Preserving history while adding a modern touch

In the autumn of 2019, Jen fell in love with a charming old farmhouse. From its stately barn and secret garden paths, to stories of the past hidden in its ever settling and sloping floors, she knew this was her home. In 2020, she gave the rooms at the Black Walnut Inn a total makeover with modern comfort and timeless tradition in mind. Each room has new Tuft & Needle beds, alarm clocks with bluetooth speakers and USB phone docks, streaming Roku services, and individually-controlled air conditioners and heaters to ensure the comfort of your stay. She hopes you will fall a little bit in love with the Black Walnut, too.
